Position: Field Engineers – HVAC
Location: New York
Emerging Early Stage Company with revolutionary energy saving technology for HVAC systems in large commercial building is growing their technical support team. We are recruiting a FIELD ENGINEER
that has experience working with HVAC systems.
With multiple projects closing in the Northeast the company needs Field Engineers capable of working in commercial building environments. They will support implementation and maintenance at the customer locations while supporting the company’s sales group.
The ideal individual should have a technical background working with HVAC systems. They should have strong interpersonal skills and experience working directly with customers. They must also be very organized and able to work without being micromanaged.
The people the company will hire MUST
experience at the commercial level (not residential) and preferably working with products from larger companies like Carrier, Trane, York, JCI, Siemens…
Field Engineers will be expected to representative the company and to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Implement and Maintain Air Flow systems in large building environments
Read/understand mechanical plans, specifications, and sequence of operation for HVAC equipment.
Accomplish basic programming for HVAC systems.
Equipment operational testing and verification.
Understand the company’s products and their capabilities
Help maintain high customer satisfaction
Interface with company’s sales and project management groups.
Experience and Qualifications:
Requires minimum of an associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or 2 years of experience working with HVAC systems, in commercial building environments.
Knowledge of Air Flow and applications pertaining to the HVAC/control industry.
Experience and understanding of HVAC systems, and building automation systems.
Requires related technical expertise with an aptitude to learn, use company-engineering tools, understand value engineering, and contractual concepts.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the desire to drive for results.
