Senior Director, DFS & VRF
The Senior Director, DFS & VRF will lead the go to market strategy for GE and Haier DFS and VRF products across all sales channels. You will work with the sale & marketing teams to develop and execute strategies to exceed customer and consumer expectations as well as win against the competition.
What you will Do
Lead the commercial efforts with product management, sales and marketing to create strategies that deliver revenue goals while also achieving the cash and EBIT targets
Develop top talent as the manager of the DFS & VRF sales team. Create the channel development strategy the sales team will execute to bring our go to market strategy to life.
Influence the strategic approach of MGPPâ€™s, Growth Playbook and Product Plans to ensure GEA is poised for success now and in the future.
Demonstrate expertise on competitive products and customer strategies. Use this knowledge to position GEA to win.
Work cross functionally and with the Haier RAC & CAC teams in China to create growth plans for DFS & VRF, leading product line reviews with our top customer partners and exceeding customer expectations.
Partner with the fulfillment and sales team to accurately forecast inventory needed to meet the demand during all new product launches, promotion timing and day to day sales plans.
Work very closely with finance and pricing teams to evaluate impacts of pricing, promotion plans and inventory decisions such as selling excess and discontinued inventory.
Develop and lead executive leadership reviews to include weekly QMI, commercial hoshin pulsing, weekly commercial council topics and other ad hoc requests.
Manage the day to day work associated with the commercial needs in the DFS & VRF business.
What you need to Succeed
BA/BS degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum 10 years of HVAC industry experience with particular depth in DFS and VRF products.
Strong leader with proven track record, change agent, effective communicator and negotiator
Demonstrated â€œoutside inâ€ focus, with experience leading a commercial organization
Exceptional interpersonal/written communication skills; can effectively interact with all levels of the organization
Enthusiastic can-do attitude, high energy level, strong sense of urgency
Remote work location can be considered for candidate with requisite skill and experience.
Exposure to operations and project management a plus
