Position Summary:

The Account Executive - Building Automation will pro-actively engage customers and potential customers to build and develop relationships. You will work with Building and Facility Managers to design a relevant sales strategy and to close business.

What you will do:

Sell Building Automation Services, Intelligent Lighting, or IoT projects.

Work with the Sales Manager and Branch Manager to identify and qualify high-level prospects and clients.

Regularly meets with clients and prospective clients to develop needs and ultimately sell Envise’s services and maintenance contracts.

Proactively manage a business funnel and provide accurate forecasting for projected sale and timing

Develop sales leads through personal contacts, professional organization participation and general market awareness, and target and contact key decision makers within the industry and build long-term relationships that you will manage.

Proactively manage calendar to pre-plan customer visits (average between 8-10 customer face to face visits per week).

Meet or exceed assigned sales goals.

What you will need to be successful:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a closely related field. A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or Energy Systems.

Formal professional sales training is highly desired – SPIN Selling or similar.

Demonstrated sales skills in prospecting, qualifying, proposing and closing, along with cold calling for new prospects.

Experience estimating and selling building solutions and service product lines. This include technical product and financial knowledge.

Highly effective people skills that allows a person to build a favorable rapport quickly with others.

Mechanical System/Engineering knowledge/experience a plus
