Technical Facilities Manager
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of combined facility management experience and service experience with an emphasis on facilities, asset management, corporate services or property management.
Facilities management and services experience.
Agreement management experience.
Experience in mechanical systems (HVAC, lighting and BMS systems).
Experience developing and managing budgets with an understanding of commercial agreements.
Experience working within a technical facilities management environment managing hard services. Knowledge and expertise in MEP infrastructure systems, building management systems and building controls.
Knowledge of property management, leases, construction terms and practices with strong working knowledge of sophisticated building systems.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment and lead vendor partners. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be responsive to customer requests/service issues.
People management and leadership skills with proven ability to influence at all levels. Excellent financial management skills.

As a Technical Facilities Manager, you will provide a pivotal role in the Americas portfolio, overseeing the management and delivery of technical services teams to ensure our facilities meet our real estate development strategy, sustainability, financial and operational goals. You will communicate Real Estate and Workplace Services' (REWS) mission and strategies to enable our partners and leadership to understand complex issues within the portfolio and make key decisions. You will work as part of a unified team, build trust, lead the team and align with REWS partners to deliver excellent workplace experiences for our Googlers.
You have excellent facilities management and leadership experience and can take responsibility for all aspects of facilities services and operations, including oversight of the technical facilities services and smart building management of our growing portfolio.You demonstrate high level management abilities, strategic thinking and leadership skills to effectively manage all aspects of the role.

Work with Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) management team to create, implement and manage operational objectives and processes to ensure cohesive delivery of services.
Lead the development and deployment of standards, measurement criteria, solutions and performance metrics, working cross-functionally with REWS partners to accomplish yearly objectives.
Be responsible for delivery of Google's diverse programs, services and agreements, including strategic direction and leadership to facilities teams who oversee both building operations. Manage the daily operations of the site.
Manage and oversee all hard services across the West portfolio and act as a subject matter expert responsible for oversight of building management technical services.
Develop new ideas and initiatives with all hard services suppliers with the objective of enhancing service levels and improving cost efficiency.
