Air Conditioning Jobs
An air conditioning job involves installing, commissioning, and servicing, designing, developing and delivering innovative, results-driven energy efficient energy programs that get results for air conditioning. An air conditioning professional improves the efficiency of existing air conditioning units; develops and manages relationships with trade allies and partners including trade associations, industry players, state energy officials, utilities, trade schools, and others. An air conditioning professional services, maintains and proactively repairs air handling units and other associated cooling plant. An air conditioning professional is responsible for helping business and home owners lower costs, increase comfort, and improve indoor air quality; and in championing the development and use of renewable, alternative energy.
An air conditioning job requires a bachelor’s degree and extensive experience in a/c splits, commercial a/c units, and basic knowledge of control/ BMS systems. Air conditioning professionals should be able to troubleshoot electrical and controls associated with air conditioning units. Air conditioning professionals must have ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints and must have a strong familiarity with HVAC systems.
