HVAC Service Tech Jobs
An HVAC service tech performs maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems, commercial rooftop, air package units, as well as rack air condition units. An HVAC service tech installs new units or replaces parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines. An HVAC service tech provides the highest quality HVAC systems services and solutions. An HVAC service tech also performs troubleshoots and diagnose commercial HVAC units at customer sites. An HVAC service tech works under immediate supervision & primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment & typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
An HVAC service tech requires a high school diploma or its equivalent or experience, good interpersonal skills, and solid technical skills.
An HVAC service tech should have good communication and presentation skills, and excellent customer service skills. An HVAC service tech must complete legible paperwork and submit in a timely manner & able to wire low voltage and high voltage circuits on new installations.
