HVAC Sales Jobs
An HVAC sales job involves building positive relationship with customers, closing deals, developing new accounts, ensuring repeat business from existing customers, and making a positive impact in a company. An HVAC sales person is responsible for opening new accounts while understanding the needs of the customer and how to meet those needs. An HVAC sales person manages a sales territory for providers of services and/or commodity products. An HVAC sales person reads and takes off blue prints; estimates, bids and negotiates projects; performs heat loss and heat gain load calculations; lays-out and designs HVAC systems; and has a general working knowledge of this industry.
An HVAC sales person requires a bachelor's degree with MBA or experience selling industrial or commercial products to small to medium units or to the building industry. An HVAC sales person must be a good negotiator and have proven skills at identifying new sales opportunities and closing sales. An HVAC sales person must be goal-oriented, self-starting, and energetic, and must have a genuine empathy for customers along with willingness to help others.
